This deciduous bonsai, unlike a full sized mimosa, isn’t invasive. Instead of producing hundreds of seeds and spreading all over your yard, the bonsai form of the Mimosa features tiny little pink blooms that are very fragrant. It also has very delicate leaves that look almost like fern leaves. These delicate leaves combined with the silky little flowers make this one of the most beautiful bonsai trees you’ll find. It’s a somewhat hardy bonsai, too, and grows in zones 6 through 9.

Remember when watering your Mimosa bonsai that bonsai trees shouldn’t be watered according to a schedule. Instead, water them only when they need it. You can tell how much water a bonsai has by holding the pot and testing to see how dry the soil is.

Wow. We didn’t realize how valuable a whole house filter was until we got ours. Our dark clothes were constantly getting washed out color just after a few washes. That’s awfully expensive when your buying top end golf shirts. But who wants to take their golf shirts to the dry cleaner And quite frankly who can afford that kind of expense in today’s economy. We had always had a slight chlorine taste in our water. I guess most municipal supplies have that taste as they all use chlorine as a disinfectant.

We choose the Aquasana EQ-300 filtration system from Better Water Store. This filter was certainly the best deal out there bar none. Came with a 90 day money back guarantee. Included free shipping and the price was the best on the net at under $800 dollars. We had our plumber hook it up and it only took him a hour or so to get it done. After a month or two of using the filter we noticed a few things. First, taking a shower was great now. No chlorine smell in the shower and our hair and skin felt much better. Next, our clothes keep their colors after washing. And finally our dishwasher got clean water and we noticed less spots and cleaner dishes. Of course the water tasted pretty good too!
